Scoprire se una porta è bloccata

Ciao a tutti, devo scoprire se la porta 3306 del mio pc aziendale è bloccata.
Come posso fare? Esiste qualche software?

ps. non ho accesso a firewall e router vari.

3306 cioè MySql?
Non riesci a connetterti a MySql da un altro pc verso il tuo? Di solito si esprime l'elecndo delle interfacce su cui MySql deve essere in ascolto. Mi pare di default loopback per cui credo che tu debba aggiungere l'interfaccia di rete.

Esatto mysql. In particolare mi dice al passo Apply Security Settings:

The security settings could not be applied to the database because the connection has failed with the following error:
Error N.1045

Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'(using password:YES)

If a personal firewall is running on your machine, please make sure you have opened the
TCP port 3306 for connections, otherwise no client application can connect to the server.
After you have opened the port please press retry to apply the security settings.

If you are re-installing after you just uninstalled the mysql server please note that the
data directory was not removed automatically. therefore the old password from you last
installation is still need to connect to the server. in this case please select skip now
and rerun the configuration wizard from the start menu.


Pensavo fosse il firewall aziendale ma ora sono a casa ed ho lo stesso problema. Come faccio a capire se la porta è bloccata? Premetto che è la prima volta che installo MySql.

Sei sotto Windows o Linux? Devi modificare il file di configurazione in modo che accetti le connessioni su una determinata interfaccia o su tutte.
Non mi ricordo più come si fa però.

si sono su windows...questo file di configurazione sta tra le cartelle di mysql? non ricordi il nome?
