mi arrivano virus x posta che norton mi rileva,come devo fare a fermare questa ondata

sono sempre xsone diverse con e mail in inglese copme x scritto PROVA QUESTO NUOVO GGIOCO,VINCI 3000 MILIONI DI DOLLARI ECC ECC

purtroppo non credo il tuo indirizzo email deve essere nella rubrica di qualche pc infetto che bombarda a caso le persone presenti in essa, potresti provare ad avvisare il mittente dell'infezione anche se molte volte sia il mittente sia il destinatario sono presi dalla rubrica e quindi l'untore consapevole o meno potrebbe essere un altro

A me invece ci sono messaggi con virus che Norton non li ha visti... e ho dovuto formattare tutto perche' si era incasinato tutto!

Eppure era norton 2002 con l'ultimissimo aggiornamento!

Ho contattato il servizio tecnico della Symantec e mi hanno risposto questo:

The only way that you can delete this email on your mail server is for
you to phone your ISP and get them to delete the emails on the email
server.

If your virus protection is up to date then Norton Antivirus will scan
the attachment as it is being downloaded. As soon as NAV recognizes
the virus it alerts you to the virus and allows you delete or
quarantine the virus.

Un upgrade was released that allows you to silently quarantine or
silently delete infected email attachments. Please run liveupdate to
download all program updates, then start NAV, go into Options, click
on Email, then under How to Respond when infected email is found,
choose either Silently Quarantine or Silently Delete.

As stated previously, you should contact your internet service
provider and have them delete the infected email from their server.
That way it will no longer be downloaded onto your computer when you
attempt to receive your email.

If you have an infected email in your email program, then please
delete it. There is no reason to view any information in that email,
as the only reason it exists is to spread the infection.

Oppure mi hanno implicitamente risposto che il Norton non è capace di eliminare "al volo" l'allegato infetto, prima che l'e-mail venga salvata sull'HD.

idem con patate! io credo che il modo più efficace sia usare un'indirizzo troppo conosciuto direttamente dal portale(libero... eccetera!)
