Ragazzi ho bisogno assolutamente di voi.
Questa mattina sul vecchio comp (PII 400-Asus P2v-128mgbyte.. s.operativo windows 98,norton antivirus 2003) del mio fratellino ho installato senza riscontrare particolari problemi
il router Trust 445A collegato alla scheda di rete STD scheda FastEthernet 10/100 MBit PCI

I problemi si sono presentati invece durante la navigazione
1)Non riesco più ad aprire come prima un sito di Harley davidson e Chopper (la mia grande passione) coperto da passwords. Mentre prima, per accedere, copiavo nella barra degli indirizzi il link completo di nome utente e passwords adesso devo scriverli manualmente cliccando su member all'interno del sito oppure scrivendo E.S www.sito.com/members in modo da far uscire la finestra in cui inserire i dati . Se non faccio ciò esce il messaggio La pagina cercata è stata rimossa o il nome della pagina è stato modificato
Inoltre se sbaglio a scrivere il nome utente o la passwords,mi dà "La pagina cercata è stata rimossa o il nome della pagina è stato modificato" e se riclicco su member per correggerre ottengo lo stesso risultato.
L'unico modo per reinserire i dati e quello di riavviare il comp ecc..E' un Gran CASINO

2)Ho difficoltà nella navigazione soprattutto nel download .I tecnici telecom mi hanno confermato l'aggiornamento a 640 della linea ma io arrivo max a 35KB/S sia che abbia il modem Usb che il router installato oggi.
Con kazaa Scarico max 15Kb/s min 1kb/s

Per fare una prova ho fatto scaricare ad un amico dal sito http://www.bigbearchoppers.com/gallery/videos.html
il file da 22.8 MB.
Lui lo scarico a 70KB/s io arrivo a fatica a 30KB/s

e poi anche dal sito http://bo.mirror.garr.it/mirrors/Ma...1-inst.i586.iso (E' una iso linux da mirror di grande velocità, qui vai al 100% della tua banda)
Lui scarica a 79 io a fatica a 40KB/S

Ho eseguito vari test.Che ne pensate

magari hanno cambiato l'accesso al sito e impediscono di passare user e password sulla querystring

Ragazzi non sono un esperto.Spiegatemi meglio quello che devo fare Grazie.

P.S Ho alice adsl aggiornata a 640,almeno così mi dicono i tecnici della telecom.Abito difronte(circa 15 metri) la centrale telecom del mio paese

Valori che non ho mai visto,e tutto facendo una semplice modifica

Mi puoi spiegare questa modifica che mi hai consigliato.

TCP Receive Window: This is where you set RWIN (RcvWindow). RWIN is the single most important tweak. Raising Rwin from default (8760 for Win95/98/98SE/NT and 17520 for WinME/2K/XP), can greatly improve download speeds. Why? Here is my kindergarten analogy: Default RWIN for broadband, is like having a tiny straw in a thick milk shake, only so much can get through the straw (line), so fast. By putting a larger straw (higher RWIN) in that same thick shake, you allow more shake (data) to come through faster, to a point that is. After which, there is no more improvement, and shake (data) can start spilling all over (packet loss). So the key is, to find an RWIN that fits your line just right. This is blank before changing from default.

Comunque riscarico piano max 40 Kb/S.
Con kazaa è inutile provare a scaricare ,va troppo piano e
mi hanno detto che è colpo del router.


Ho rifatto il test ,mi sembra tutto ok
