xine crasha in full screen

con la Slackware 9.1 ho problemi con xine: se cerco di passare in full screen il programma mi crasha ed ho il seguente output

ho provato sia con i pacchetti precompilati sia a ri-compilare il tutto. Prima con RedHat non avevo alcun problema...

GXine in full screen mi funzionava sul portatile con XFree
4.3.0 e scheda video ATI 9000 Mobility 64MB.
Altrimenti sul desktop con scheda video SiS e successivamente
con XFree 4.4.0 mi crasha non appena parte un filmato.
Però non mi sono mai sbattuto più di tanto (pigrizia) per
vedere se si può risolvere. Uso in quel caso Xine o MPlayer
e non se ne parla più.
