problemi nel settare adsl

ho letto il post di Fivendra su come settare l'adsl al meglio, sto provando a farlo (ho un modem USB) ma come posso cambiare pppoe in pppoa? poi come faccio a settare il giusto valore di RWIN se non conosco il giusto valore di MSS?

inoltre usando dslreports non riesco nemmeno a settare mtu su 1500

con cosa hai creato la connessione?
con il wizard di xp, con i driver originali, con il cd dell'isp...?

mss è comunque sempre mtu meno 40
e lo leggi nel test che ti mostra la conf...
dopo ogni modifica devi riavviare...

ho usato il cd alice purtroppo forse per questo non riesco a cambiare i valori MTU?... comunque secondo te posso lasciare PPoE ?

non riesco a modificare MTU su 1500 e non so come cambiare pppoe in pppoa praticamente e poi adsl lenta per una 640, scarico a 55-60k/s

sarebbe meglio il pppoa (sicuro di aver messo pppoe, non devi far riferimento a quello che c'è scritto li...guarda sul pannello del modem usb...)
1480 è mtu di ppoe di xp ma questo non significa che hai il pppoe.
il problema è che il cd dell'isp spesso blocca a valori più bassi...
se hai usato il wizard di xp non farlo e installa solo i driver del modem...

penso che il cd di Alice contenga il driver di questo modem della D-link credo, altrimento dove trovo i driver originali? ho cercato ma nisba

grazie, ma non riesco a trovarlo, ho trovato un Modem Ethernet ADSL 300T, ma il mio e' 302T e ha la doppia presa usb e ethernet, sara' lo stesso?
