    Consigli per controller raid?

    Buongiorno a tutti, ho dei problemi sul controller raid, in poche parole ho 3 hard disk uno serie ata dove e' installato il sistema operativo, e altri due collegati sul controller raid, inizialmente lanciando il comando fdisk -l il raid non mi veniva riconosciuto, poi ho installato dal cd il supporto raid.
    Ora quando lancio il comando f disk, mi vede sempre hard disk serie ata ma non gli altri 2!!!! Sono andata a vedere alcuni doc in merito ma non ho trovato nulla!!
    Qualche consiglio perfavore?

    Non riesco a capire , i vari dev sono gli altri hard disk, contento che sul primo serie ata ho una pertizione, e sull ultimi anche, ho 3 hard disk 80G, quindi mi mancano altri 40G mi sembrerebbe!!
    Consigli per capire?

    il problema è che non riconosce il controller raid e naturalmente non vede gli altri dischi

    il disco sull'ata va bene piu o meno

    /dev/sda1 * 1 5101 40973751 7 HPFS/NTFS sono 40gb su ntfs


    /dev/sda2 5102 9729 37174410 f W95 Ext'd (LBA) è la partizione estesa su cui è la partizione linux

    dev/sda5 5102 9729 37174378+ 83 Linux 37 gb che con i rotti piu o meno fa 80gb

    incolla uno scanpci mandrake ha dei moduli da caricare manualmente per i controller raid ma è strano che non lo abbia fatto da se

    se riconoscesse il controller dovresti trovare sdb ed sdc almeno con fdisk -l

    Grazie per il consiglio, non vorrei sembrare troppo stupida, ma non ho la piu' pallida idea di come si faccia,e da poco che ho linux circa 2 settimane!!!
    avresti voglia di dirmi come si fa?

    scrivi in un terminale


    scanpci

    scanpci elenca l'hardware che riconosce

    altrimenti devi dare

    dmesg che elenca anche eventuali problemi

    se riusciamo a capire che controller raid è si puo provare a caricare i suoi driver

    il kernel ha molti driver e caricandoli con modprobe magari riconosce il controller ed i dischi

    Mi fai scoprire un sacco di cose nuove, mi sento drogata da questo mondo anche se per ora per me e' ancora molto sconoschiuto

    che mobo è

    il raid purtoppo proprio non esist per lei

    magari sapendo che scheda madre è si puo risalire al conrtroller raid che non vede

    è un problema del kernel ed è anche pericolosetto metterci le mani ( il sistema potrebbe non ripartire ) probabilmente con la nuova versione che uscira' a giorni di mandrake risolvera da se

    dimmi che scheda madre è
    si puo fare qualche esperimento se vuoi rischiare
