Ciao...ho installato Ubuntu sul portatile di una amica, come già avevo fatto sul mio. Quando provo a usare apt-get update non riesce a scaricare la lista dei pacchetti e mi da questi errori:

il che mi sembra strano....sono andato a controllare l'infdirizzo http:/archive.ubuntu.com e tutto è al suo posto...

Io uso questo e funziona tutto alla perfezione:

deb ftp://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hoary main restricted universe multiverse
deb-src ftp://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hoary main restricted universe multiverse

deb ftp://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hoary-updates main restricted universe multiverse
deb-src ftp://it.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hoary-updates main restricted universe multiverse

deb ftp://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu hoary-security main restricted universe multiverse

Usando al posto dell'http l'ftp funziona...però è strano..
potrebbe essere dovuto ad un problema del proxy visto che è solo http, mentre il proxy ftp è trasparente..secondo te è possibile?

Potrebbe anche essere.

Ma che server stai utlizzando?
