sono nuovo e vorrei sapere una cosa:
come mai il sito che ho costruito con dreamweaver 8 si vede bene con IE ma non con gli altri browser? Proprio l'impaginazione risulta errata.
Mi potete aiutare?

Se fai una piccola ricerca troverai decine di domande simili.
Purtroppo IE è uno dei browser che segue meno gli standard W3C. :rollo:
Quindi quello che scrivi e controlli solo con IE molto spesso non funzionerà con gli altri browser. Viceversa, se scrivi e controlli con Firefox, al 95% andrà bene anche con IE.
Ci sono passato anch'io, e penso molti altri.
La tecnica è quella di far sì che si veda correttamente su FF e poi verificare su IE.
Si, solo che non so di preciso cosa modificare.

CHE VUOL DIRE?
Con FF mi sembra di vedere due punti tipo quelli di una lista ... che però non esiste ...
Prova a iniziare a definire un DOCTYPE corretto così i browser sanno con che cosa hanno a che fare

Per quanto riguarda i DOCTYPE, ho letto gli articoli, ma da ignorante non ho capito molto. Non so cosa e dove modificare. Purtropppo cose che potrebbero sembrare banali (e magari lo sono) sono incomprensibili per me.

Mmm ... prova a togliere per un momento il js di Shinystat.
Sembra che ci sia una lista <ul> non chiusa e che le due colonne centrale e destra diventino due elementi della lista (vedi quei due puntini in alto a sinistra delle due colonne?) :master:
Ho aggiunto, ho aggiornato ma mi sembra non sia cambiato nulla.
Se mi dai altri codici io posso provare.
