Widows media player errore di codec

Ciao a tutti
ho un problema con windows media player.
Non riesco a visualizzare alcuni video perchè mi si apre una finestrella con scritto:
impossibile riprodurre il file. Uno o più codec necessari per la riproduzione non sono stati trovati.
Allora premo Guida web e mi si apre una finestra internet con scritto

Si, Windows Media Player non è il lettore di file multimediali migliore che esista, anzi uno dei peggiori. Per quanto si possa migliorare installando codec e plug-in rimarrà sempre un disastro, non aprendo alcuni file che non digerisce, come file leggermente difettosi o file incompleti.

Cominciamo con il far leggere a WMP tutti i file possibili.

Installa K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 3.8.0 , accettando tutti i consigli in caso di conflitti o vecchi codec che ti proporrà in fase di installazione.

Con questo pack WMP dovrebbe leggere tutti i file che può. ma nel pack ci sono numerosi utility, tra cui gspot che serve ad analizzare file video e capire per quale motivo non viene riprodotto e Media Player Classic, un ottimo lettore in grado di leggere quasi tutti i file e leggerissimo oltre che gratuito.

Ma in caso di problemi di codec di windows, ci sono alcuni lettori che usano i propri codec e sono in grado di leggere la quasi totalità dei file video.

GOM Player

Sono free, e puoi tenerli tranquillamente installati con WMP, non si danno nessun fastidio.
Se un file non dovesse riuscire ad essere aperto da nessuno dei due, puoi eliminarlo, non credo che esistano player che possano riprodurre quel file.
