devo validare il mio sito con lo xhtml 1.0 strict.
io avevo un IFRame, e questo non viene validato... ho visto che si può sostituire con object, ma mi mette un bordo fatidioso...
come faccio per eliminarlo???

chiaramente il bordo lo vede solo explorer perché in firefox non c'è

CHIARAMENTE i frame, iframe e chi per essi sono soluzioni sconsigliate.
Detto questo potresti provare, nel css, a mettere
object {border:none;}
