Ho un problema. Spesso, mentre sono collegato ad Internet, il browser Explorer 8 con il sistema operativo Windows XP si arresta, dandomi questa finestra

Inoltre ho il problema che, cliccando su alcune icone di avvio di software scaricati da Internet ed installati, mi compare la seguente finestra:
"The procedure entry point GetProcessId could not be located in the dynamic link library "KERNEL32.dll

Da cosa possono dipendere queste due anomalie?
Dal momento che, nella seconda finestra, mi compare un libreria DLL, ho pensato che potesse essere qualche errore nel registro di sistema; per questo ho provato a scaricare un software per riparare il registro di sistema , ma, nonostante abbia riparato tutti gli errori occorsi dopo l'analisi, restano entrambi i problemi.
