per avere informazioni su html.it?

Non ne ho idea.

Da web puoi usare http://www.nic.it/web-whois/index.jsf ma interrogarlo da Java è difficoltoso perché ti chiede un captcha... Magari guarda se il nic ha qualche API rest che puoi usare ma non credo.
