Fai un
# emerge -uDtpv world
e ti guardi da cosa dipende
Edit: in particolare, dal man di portage:
--tree (-t short option)
Shows the dependency tree using indentation for dependencies.
Only really useful in combination with --emptytree, --update
or --deep.
