    Mamma ma quanta roba. Se vuoi sapere su quale device lo mette,
    collega la macchina alla porta usb, dai un dmesg e l'ultima riga ti dice su che device l'ha montato.

    che sistema utilizzi? Cn kubuntu basti che inserisci la macchina fotografa alla presa usb, apri una finestra e nell'indirizzo scrivi

    Prima di tutto che fotocamera è ?
    Anche la mia è riconosciuta al volo da qualunque distro ubuntu compresa , ma per il semplice motivo che è una Vicam ed i suoi driver sono già inclusi nei driver del kernel vanilla .
    Poi in Slackware usb-storage devi inserirlo a manina , x defaults non viene caricato , difatti dal dmseg è assente.

    Se già messo come builtin nel kernel no problem x usb-storage. Rimane da vedere se nei moduli del kernel di slackware la tua fotocamera è presente - con Suse e con Mepis si su FedoraC4 che al momento ho piazzato proprio al posto di Slackware non c' è o almeno se c'è ho sonno io e non ce lo trovo. Dal momento che il kernel di slack è praticamente privo di driver addizionali
    qualche dubbio si potrebbe avere.

    Io ho lo stesso problema (Slackware 10, kernel 2.6.10), attacco la fotocamera, me la vede, ma non gli assegna nessun device. Posto il tail di /var/log/messages.
