mysqli.php non lo trovo!

Hola!

Ho scaricato php5 e però non trovo il file mysqli.php. Dove lo trovo? Senza di questo non mi funziona mysql...

Praticamnete è così:

Ho installato Apache 2.0.54 poi PHP 5.05 eppoi Mysql 1.4.

Purtroppo non mi funziona mysql e vorrei capire perchè. Sapete se cè un manuale che mi spiega come fare? La guida html mi diceva di mettere anche "mysqli.php" ma scopro ora che non è necessario per la versione 5.05.

Cosa devo fare perchè MYSQL lavori su PHP 5.05?????
