All'avvio di xdm vedo la schermata a puntini grigio-neri di X a momenti, cioè alcuni secondi di schermata nera e 1 secondo di schermata "normale" (senza finestra di login).
spulciando il log di xdm ho trovato questo
penso che le ultime due ricghe siano dovute al Ctrl+Alt+Backspacecodice:Could not init font path element /usr/share/fonts/local/, removing from list! ravattando nell'xorg.conf ho trovato queste /usr/share/fonts/local/ commentarle potrebbe risolvere?
O rischio di fare altri pasticci?
