Ciao,
ho una ATI Radeon 9000, e sto cercando di installare i drivers ATI per avere l'accelerazione 3D. Il sistema che uso è una Debian SID, con X.org 6.9.0 e il kernel 2.6.15. Per installare i driver, ho scaricato l'installer dal sito ufficiale, poi dalla shell mi sono creato i .deb seguendo questa guida http://wiki.cchtml.com/index.php/Deb...allation_Guide

Effettivamente, dopo aver installato il tutto, il comando fglrxinfo mi dice che è stata attivata l'accelerazione 3d, e glxgears me lo conferma. Il problema è che lo schermo, dopo avergli dato aticonfig --initial, è chiarissimo, di una luminosità accecante!! Sono quindi constretto a dargli un dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg per farlo tornare a posto, ma in questo modo mi sparisce l'accelerazione 3d.
