Problema DRM e Windows media player

After upgrading to SP2, I was not able to play music I had already downloaded, nor was I able to download any new music. The media player 10 could not get past the liscense issues. After going thru 4 levels of microsoft tech support, no one could answer WHY. I went to MSN music customer service, and now the problem is resolved. SP2 has so much security built into it, that it corrupts your drm folder when installed. This folder if full hidden liscense files and your music will not play without them. To fix, this is what MSN music online tech support had me do.

First delete the MSN music assistant from add/remove programs in the control panel. Then you want to go to C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\drm, rename this file drm_old. Then you want to go to MSN music to download and install the new MSN music assistant. This will creat a new drm folder. After going thru these steps, my media player works perfectly. If you need assistance, the most knowledgable help is available in an online chat thru MSN music. Good luck!
Anche io ho aderito al NoKappa
