ciao ragazzi..la mia pagina php inizia cosi;

Il problema è che mi da l errore:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING in C:\Documents and Settings\pazzomania\Desktop\host\invalleonline.com \sito web\index.php on line 1
Probabilmente è dovuto a <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
Come supero il problema??
