Modifica al testo cliccando bottoni

Ho trovato questo template gratuito per Ebay, l'ho modificato, ho inserito le bandierine, e vorrei fare in modo che cliccando su di esse, il testo negli spazi bianchi cambiasse appunto nelle varie lingue...
Ho tentato con mappa di immagine, pannelli a tab, ma non sono riuscito a concludere nulla...
Qualcuno mi puo' aiutare suggerendomi la strada giusta e se possibile... meno complicata?

Non puoi farlo solo con l'ausilio di html, ti servirebbe javascript o jquery

Oppure cliccando le icone devi poter cambiare pagina e fare le diverse pagine in lingua differente

E fra javascript o jquery l'opzione meno difficoltosa qual'e'? Che comandi dovrei usare, in modo da andare a studiarmi direttamente quelli?

Sono la stessa cosa, jquery è una libreria di javascript che non fa altro che semplificare il codice.
Non so come funziona ebay e se ti permette di integrare la libreria jquery al suo interno.
Nel caso in cui si possa fare, ad occhio e croce direi che la funzione più semplice e immediata che potresti utilizzare sarebbe questa:

codice:

$( "#id_elemento" ).click();

quindi abbozzando velocemente una piccola funzione che potrebbe fare al caso tuo avremmo:

codice:

$('#id_elemento_da_cliccare').click(function(){
 $('#id_elemento_che_deve cambiare').html('Testo da inserire');
});

Però a questo punto dovresti spostare il post nella sezione javascript.

Non mi e' chiaro come definire gli elementi, ma provo a studiarmi la guida jquery... grazie per il consiglio
