Problema con cookie

Salve, stò provando il codice javascript per il famso banner di avviso dei cokkie.
Il codice che stò utilizzando è il cookiechoices.js

Però questo codice ha un problema, ovvero quando vine creato il cookie, questo viene creato in un percorso sempre diverso.

Mi speiego meglio, il sito web è costituito da varie cartelle esempio:

Cartella1 contenente pag1.php, pag2.php, pag3.php
Cartella2 contenente pag4.php, pag5.php, pag6.php
Cartella3 contenente pag7.php, pag8.php, pag9.php

Adesso se io entro in pag1 mi appare il banner, accetto e viene creato il cookie.
Fino a quando visto pag1, pag2, pag3, ovvero le pagine all'interno della stessa cartella, il banner non compare più.

Se però io mi sposto in una pagina di un altra cartella, esempio pag5, ricompare nuovamente il banner, perchè il cookie non viene trovato.

Andando infatti a visualizzare sul browser il relativo cookie, noto che questo è stato scritto nel percorso /cartella1/

Come si può evitare questa cosa?

Posto l'intero cookiechoices.js per una eventuale modifica.
