Il fatto che all'avvio del Sistema Operativo mi venga detto che il Processore lavori a 1,73 Giga ma consultando il pannello di controllo-sistema-generale mi appaia un Pentium4 da 2,6 Giga (come richiesto a colui che ha assemblato la macchina) è segno di "fregatura"?
Cioè, posso pensare che il tipo abbia installato un processore diverso da quello da me richiesto e lo stesso appaia in pannello di controllo ma non all'avvio?

la "frequenza" del processore è il risultato del prodotto del bus per il moltiplicatore (es: io ho un athlon xp 1800+, il bus è a 133 Mhz e il moltiplicatore è a 11.5; 133x11.5 = 1529.5). consulta il manuale della scheda madre per sapere come controllare il tuo moltiplicatore (che, a occhio e croce, dovrenne essere o 13 o 20 o 26).

quindi non è una fregatura ma è mal impostato il bios
devi cambiare la frequenza
