nel crontab ma il sistema non si arresta.

da shell funzionano, ma il crond non li esegue.
Uso RedHat 9

nel mio crontab ho che ogni giorno alle 23 deve spegnersi il pc con uno 'shutdown -h now' e funziona tutto benissimo...
da root
crontab -e
e aggiungi:
00 23 # # # /sbin/halt (oppure shutdown) se vuoi spegnerlo tutti i giorni alle 23
