    Ciao a tutti.
    Ho lo stesso problema di molti di voi...
    Ho la vecchia alice da 1,2 (1,5?) e teoricamente la conessione mi dice di essere online a 4,9... in realtà scarico file a 150 Kb/s al massimo...
    questi sono i risultati del test, riuscite a darmi una mano?
    grazie mille!!

    TCP options string = 020405a00103030201010402
    MTU = 1480
    MTU is optimized for Windows XP PPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising MTU to 1500 for optimal throughput.
    MSS = 1440
    MSS is optimized for Windows XP PPPoE DSL broadband. If not, consider raising your MTU value.

    Default Receive Window (RWIN) = 253440
    RWIN Scaling (RFC1323) = 2 bits (scale factor of 4)
    Unscaled Receive Window = 63360

    RWIN is a multiple of MSS
    Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
    506880 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
    126720 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
    63360 (MSS x 44)
    bandwidth * delay product (Note this is not a speed test):

    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 10137.6 kbps (1267.2 KBytes/s) @ 200ms
    Your RcvWindow limits you to: 4055.04 kbps (506.88 KBytes/s) @ 500ms
    MTU Discovery (RFC1191) = ON
    Time to live left = 56 hops

    TTL value is ok.
    Timestamps (RFC1323) = OFF
    Selective Acknowledgements (RFC2018) = ON
    IP type of service field (RFC1349) = 00000000 (0)

    E quindi che devo fare??
    Tempesto di telefonate il 187...altro non saprei...non ci sono uffici dove recarsi per esporre il problema??
    I tecnici, dopo tutte le mie chiamate, non dovrebbero almeno effettuare un controllo in centrale ed anche in casa e comunicarmi quale sia il problema??
    Come faccio a tutelarmi,posso fare reclamo e in che modo??
    Dovrebbero...

    RWIN va bene...MTU potresti alzarlo fino a 1492 con rasPPPoE.

    grazie bas!
    ehm... unica cosa... perdona l'ignoranza abissale, ma non ho la più pallida idea di come si faccia ad aumentare l'MTU con il rasPPoE!!
    se nella tua immensa clemenza volessi aiutarmi, potrei erigere una statua di argilla in tuo onore nel bel paese in cui vivo!
    Grz!

    Note: TCP 1323 Options need to be enabled for RWIN over 2^16 (65535). Windows 9x might also need the MS Vtcp386 fix.

    Per impostare i giusti valori devi dire di che connessione si tratta.
