Ciao, sono nuovo del forum e mi sono avvicinato perchè la mia tiscali 4mega è di una lentezza devastante. Ho provato ad usare il DRTCP, ma i valori sono rimasti identici a prima. Con valori intendo MTU ecc. oltre alla velocità. Magari ho cannato qualcosa? Il mio modem è USB. I valori che ho sono questi, che cosa posso fare per cambiare MTU e compagnia bella?

Niente da fare nemmeno con TCP Optimizer, i valori che mi da speedguide sono sempre gli stessi. Come connessione ho 3435 kbps in download e 447kbps in up (connessione tiscali 4mega) sono molto sotto gli standard?

Qualcuno può aiutarmi?
la questione è questa: ho scaricato dr.tcp setto rwin , riavvio, controllo su speedguide.net, TUTTO OK. Ricontrollo dopo qualche minuto e l'rwin mi torna ai valori predefiniti come anche l'MTU che da 1480 torna a 1400....COSA DEVO FARE??

Sono disperata, pago l'ADSL ad Infostrata per navigare a 4M (2,5M perchè non ancora scollegata da Telecom) e navigo a 20 max 100 Kb. Il PC è nuovo (Corel Duo, 1G Ram ecc, W-XP) il modem è un DLink DSL-200.
Ho seguito tutti i vostri consigli, cercato ogni sorta di minuscolo virus ma i risultati non sono migliorati.
Ho mandato parecchi messaggi ad Infostrada che non mi risponde neanche più.
Potete salvarmi dal disdire il contratto per inadempienza ?!?!?!
