dove trovo questo ethernet/router?
il meglio tra i 2?

i modem usb non sono il massimo cone le 4mbit. sopratutto i primi modem usb....
il mio consiglio e di prenderti un modem ethernet o un router....
fatti una ricercuccia sul forum e trovi parecchie cose al riguardo, poi per ogni dibbio, chiedi pure...
comunque la spesa è sui 80-90€ max

premetto che daro' il mio sederino a ki mi aiuta a scendere di ping ( xD )

non mi interessa tanto velocita' download upload ... a me interessa solo ed esclusivamente avere la connex stabile e con latenza bassa ...

ebbene ... ho adsl libero 1.2 interleaved ( non vogliono mettermela in fast -.- ... ) e il ping su maya.ngi.it è il seguente

considerando che ho un bel router ( netgear DG834 ) ho gia' tolto protezione firewall dalle porte che mi servono sempre aperte e non ho messo scansione registro ... così dovrebbe essere piu' pulita ...

raspppoe è ottimo da usare per i modem ethernet se si utlizza il pppoe.
ma oramai visto che con gli ethernet anche il pppoa è supportato....
comunque è ottimo

devi mettere rwin pari a mss per 44 però mtu va modificato a 1500 se usi il pppoa o 1492 se usi il pppoe
