Non è proprio così...RWIN è a 257760 mentre MTU è rimasto inalterato...probabilmente ti tocca settarlo anche nel modem/router.

Non è proprio così...RWIN è a 257760 mentre MTU è rimasto inalterato...probabilmente ti tocca settarlo anche nel modem/router.

MTU e RWIN sono perfetti.
www.ngi.it non è pingabile.
152 ms su maya.ngi.it sono troppi.
Azzardo ma ne sono pressochè certo che hai la 4 Mbps wholesale, in interleaved ed è cmq alto il ping.

Ragazzi avevo scritto indietro che non riuscivo a settare rwin, cioè che lo settavo (a 256960 per una 4 mbit) e poi mi ritornava come se non avessi fatto nulla a 64000, anche riavviando il pc.

Tuttora, anche riprovando svariate volte, l'rwin non si schioda da 64000.

Per quanto riguarda RWIN non so perchè non te lo prenda...per MTU puoi installare rasPPPoE e portarlo a 1492. Così com'è è bloccato dal sistema operativo che secondo come limita MTU a 1480 per le connessioni PPPoE.

Dunque volevo avere un parere sulla mia configurazione.
Io ho un' alice flat (640/256)ed un WinXP con scheda Ethernet + router Ethernet Belkin collegato ad un Modm ADSL D-Link.

Dal sito SpeedGuide ho ricavato questi valori:

MTU sometimes used in PPPoA applications. If not, consider increasing your MTU to 1500 for better throughput. If you are using a router, it could be limiting your MTU regardless of Registry settings.

I valori di TCP Windows limits sembrano molto buoni, anche se il mio MTU è basso.
I valori di ping verso maya.ngi.it sono invece altini, tipo 200ms.

che ne pensate?
