Veramente succede proprio in XP...Se si vuole ovviare si può smanettare col registro come spiegato dalla stessa Microsoft http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;283165 o installare il RASPPPoE.

Rileggendo però forse il caso di Gionnico è un po' diverso,visto che usa un modem USB e comunque non il PPPoE (da quello che ho capito)... :master:

Scusate ragazzi, io ho Alice Business col router Pirelli della Telecom (quello con la smart card).

Ho provato tutti i prog. possibili per modificare l'MTU a 1500....niente! è inchiodato MTU 1472 e MSS 1432.

Come posso modificare l'MTU a 1500? Dr.TCP e TCPOptimizer non riescono a modificare niente.

stesso problema,mtu impostato a 1500 con drtcp,tcpoptimizer,impostato anche sul router ma speedguide mi dice che sono sempre a 1470

mi sono aperto il post dal primo messaggio ma i link non funzionano piu',soprattutto quello per veder la configurazione del pc.
visto che ho un problema di velocità vorrei aver delucidazioni su come settare mtu e per postarvi i valori,ma non vanno i link!

Il test di speedguide è il seguente:

Cmq premetto ke il mtu del modem nn si riesce a modificare con dr.tcp e tcpoptimizer.
Dal sito della debian scarico sui 400 kbyte ma con il p2p tipo mulo non vado oltre la medie di 40-50.
Cosa devo fare?C'è qlke problema?
