il problema e che non riesco a scaricare il programma, la pagina web nn me la pre, e di conseguenza nn riesco neanche a cambriare il valore di RWIN...

upgrade effetuato,zona Casale Monferrato...portante sui 4.8mega ma velocità download effettiva identica alla 1.2 mega,sui 160 kb/s....
e aprite sti rubinetti.......

Lasciare le nuove impostazioni poichè sono quelle più adatte a una 4 Mbps e poi aspettare che ti aumentino la velocità effettiva...con me ci hanno messo 2 giorni se non ricordo male (Alice)...semmai fai qualche sollecito all'assistenza clienti.

Salve a tutti,

in attesa dello sfiltramento (tin.it), ho fatto un giretto all'indirizzo http://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php per controllare il mio RWIN, la cosa che mi torna strana è che i valori suggeriti in questo thread sembrerebbero riferirsi alla dimensione massima dell'RWIN, ma non a quella ideale.

Nessuno ha mai fatto il test all'indirizzo http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks ?

Secondo tale test, la dimensione dell'RWIN ideale in base alla banda offerta dal provider e al protocollo è ben inferiore ai valori che ho letto in questo thread.

Se qualcuno è in grado di chiarire la cosa, credo faccia un gran piacere a tutti.

A me sinceramente sembra che i server di quel sito siano un po' lentini...ecco perchè probabilmente ti consigliano un RWIN più basso...io ho provato a fare il test e il transfer rate con il quale ho scaricato il file (quello di 146 KB) è molto basso...intorno ai 300 Kbps quando io ho una 4 Mbps!

bè ma nel sito è specificato che non si tratta di un test di velocità, peraltro non credo che l'RWIN consigliato da dslreports si basi sulla sua velocità di trasferimento, quanto sulla qualità della trasmissione, le latenze e le caratteristiche della tua connessione (dsl, isdn ecc) e il protocollo (pppoe, pppoa ecc).

Si, cambia l'RWIN perchè è troppo basso...mettilo a 255552.
