ok io l'ho appena scaricato, è un file tar, ora devo decomprimerlo nella mia home e poi far partire l'installazione?

allora ho scaricato il file e sto seguendo la guida che mi hai dato...ma quando digito il comando:
"make" questo è il risultato:

make -C driver

ovviamente, come dice la guida non dovrei ottenere quella scritta di error 2.,.......

riesci a scaricarlo ed installarlo da urpmi ? la compilazione evidentemente da qualche noia, potrebbe essere un problema di versione.

allora la guida dice:

"scegliete i586 se avete una CPU 32 bit (Pentium , AthlonXP e simili) oppure x86_64 se avete CPU 64 bit (Athlon64 , Turion64 e simili). All'interno troverete tutti gli rpm di Mandriva 2007, individuate i pacchetti:

-ndiswrapper
-dkms-ndiswrapper

scaricateli e installateli (prima raggiungete da shell la directory dove li avete messi ) con il comando urpmi ndiswrapper ; urpmi dkms-ndiswrapper"

ma io sinceramente non trovo questi pacchetti. Io ho un Athlon64 e quindi sono andata nella cartella x86_64.
Andando nella cartella ndiswrapper che avevo scaricato io e digitando:

urpmi ndiswrapper il risultato è:

    ftp://mirror.switch.ch/mirror/mandra...-3mdk.i586.rpm

è strano che ci siano tutti questi problemi, non conosco mandriva molto bene ma, puoi provare, ad aggiornare le fonti con

urpmi.update -a

una volta fatto questo riprova con

urpmi ndiswrapper
 urpmi dkms-ndiswrapper

ci deve essere qualche problema con il repository a quanto pare, non riesce a scaricare i pacchetti, ne ad aggiornarsi.

probabilmente stiamo divagando troppo ma il problema direi che si è spostato su qualcosa di più basilare.

prova a seguire quanto riportato Qui (a patto che tu non l'abbia già fatto) questo ti consente di aggiungere repository dai quali scaricare software da usare con urpmi

purtroppo la mia versione è mandriva 10.2 ....e non compare nella lista....

guarda, non vorrei dire una sciocchezza (il che è probabile) ma dovrebbe essere la 2005, se non ricordo male è stata una release di "passaggio".

però aspetta che ciò venga confermato da chi ne sa più di me.
