Ho un router Trust 445A ma non riesco a cambiare l' MTU..
Ho provato sia dalle impostaz del router che da drtcp ed entrambi segnano 1500, però il test mi da 1472.

Per un motivo sconosciuto l'impostazione di MTU sul trust e' sballata.
Per avere il test con MTU 1500 ho impostato MTU ed MRU a 1520 mentre MSS a 1500.

yes...non ho il firmware originale e la questione persiste

Sono fresco di upgrade a 640.sistema operativo win98 SE con scheda Ethernet.Questi sono i valori che ho attualmente:

Maximum useful data in each packet = 1448, which is less than MSS because of Timestamps, or other TCP/IP options used.

Unscaled Receive Window = 5792

For optimum performance, consider changing RWIN to a multiple of MSS.
Other values for RWIN that might work well with your current MTU/MSS:
513920 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 8)
256960 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 4)
128480 (MSS x 44 * scale factor of 2)
64240 (MSS x 44)

Ciao ragazzi, io nn ho ancora ricevuto lk'upgrade ma mi sto preparando per modificare i dati, io ho sempre installato alice dal suo cd auto installante, ho un IPM WebpowerUSB e non riesco a settare mtu a 1500 e nemmeno l'RWin !! poi ho notato ke invece di andare + veloce ultimamente va + lento !! aiutatemii !!

Ciao, non ho rotto molto le **** in questi quasi 2 anni di adsl e vorrei farlo adesso... dopo 5 giorni di upgrade...
