Grazie, ho fatto come detto da andy, uppato la lista dei mirror (apt-get update, e fin qui tutto bene) pero' non riesco a installare i pacchetti consigliati, sempre per questo stupido errore

azz senza dpkg non si installa molto

mai visto certi fenomeni

ti mancano dei programmi di base fondamentali
ma non ti ha dato errore durante l'installazione ?
io mi salverei la cartella /var/cache/apt/archives da qualche parte e farei una reinstallazioncina veloce poi dopo avere rimesso la cartella al suo posto e avere ricopiato il sources.list dopo apt-get update reinstallerei i programmi

altrimenti prova a dare un
apt-get install dpkg base-files base-config

poi dopo essere andato in /var/cache/apt/archives

vedere se te li installa con

dpkg -i base-files*
dpkg -i base-files*
non è da tutti comunque combinare un casotto del genere

Prova a dare:

apt-get -f install
senza alcun altro parametro
prendi nota del nome di tutti i file che restituiscono errore
poi prova a disinstallarli
apt-get --purge remove nome.prg

altrimenti scarica debootstrap con apt o manualmente e guarda di installarlo con dpkg -i

poi lancia questo script


debootstrap sid ./sid-chroot http://ftp.it.debian.org/debian

ti fa il debootstrap come gentoo

C'è un altro sistema non molto ortodosso per cercare di rimediare con i file che ti mancano:
da console con midnaight commander -
ti cerchi i 3 file mancanti.deb
li metti ndocazzo vuoi te
Vai col cursore su / undocazzo l'hai messo/mancante.deb
Mc lo scompatta e lo gestisce - metti il cursore su installa e dai invio.
