edita /etc/cups/cupsd.conf, nella riga doce c'è LogLevel edita in modo da avere Loglevel debug poi riavvia cupsd riprova a stampare e posta l'ultima parte del file /var/log/cups/error_log

siamo gia andato al di là delle mie conscenze di linux

ho aperto il file con kwrite ma come si fa ad avere loglevel debug? e a riavviare cupsd?

la modifica da fare è qui dentro?

sono riuscito a farla partire.

Per chi ne avesse bisogno ho seguito le istruzioni che ho trovato qui:

...ma sono risucito a stampare solo 2 pagine di prova, poi non ha piu funzionato.

Comunque adesso le code di stampa appaiono nel printer manager e, se prima rimanevano bloccate lì, adesso dopo qualche secondo scompaiono come se tutto fosse andato correttamente, ma non mi esce la stampa dalla stampante.
