I have a WebKit build which recognizes the <audio> and <video> html5 tags. This is not quite enough to get the sound and video output going, however. I have started plugging some parts of it to the media kit.

Haiku sta progredendo abbastanza bene, considerando che hanno portato pure i due maggiori toolkit linux. Se c'è un OS alternativo che ha qualche chance di diffondersi, quello è Haiku.
Purtroppo i vari Atheos, Syllable, Skyos, Visopsys, ecc... sono morti e sepolti. Un altro progetto da tenere sott'occhio è Genode. E' un OSkit di cui si parla poco, anche perchè gli sviluppatori gravitano nell'orbita dell'embedded e dell'internet of things. Tuttavia ha delle funzionalità paurose.

I ran the WebKit test suite tonight and found a lot of new crashes in the media tests. This doesn't sound good. I'll have a closer look at the results today and fix the crashing issues (at least), before I do a release of this. I also found that some websites still aren't working, but this isn't a regression from previous versions, so I don't think it should delay the release further.

Wow. Thanks to our donors' generousity, Adrien is able to continue for a seventh month of improving WebPositive, WebKit and its related techologies. $2145 has been raised this past month! This is spot on with the number mentioned in last month's contract announcement article.
If you did not hear, Adrien has started working on HTML5 Audio/Video support, specifically the audio portion. As usual, he is publishing weekly progress reports on his blog. Periodically, new builds of WebKit and WebPositive are merged into the nightly images.
Once again, allow me to extend our gratitude to everyone who has and continues to donate. The yearly total is now soaring past $13000, which could make 2014 our best year yet.
