prova da suse a mettere nella sezione di debian

    title Debian
    root (hd1,1)
    kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.4.27-2-686 root=/dev/hdb2 ro
    initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.4.27-2-686
    savedefault
    boot

    copia quella di debian direttamente

Ciao, ho sostituito nel file /boot/grub/menu.1st
i comandi che mi hai dato quest'ultima volta.
Ho riavviato e selezionato debian e ho ottenuto questo errore:

    Root(hd1,1)
    FILESYSTEM TYPE UNKNOWN
    PARTITION TYPE 0xF
    KERNEL/BOOT/VMLINUZ 2.4.27-2-686
    ROOT=/DEV/HBD2 RO

Comincio a pensare di aver installato male la debian...
Grazie per il tempo che mi dedicate

    prova a reinstallare debian

    reinstallando metti direttamente grub nell'mbr

debian come suse aggiunge automaticamente tutte le distibuzioni che trova installate a grub windows compreso
