In caso che usi Apache, guarda nelle cartelle se ci siano dei file .htaccess che ti settino il nome della sessione.

nel secondo:

Ci sono? In caso di sì, forse ci sono delle direttive per PHP che cambino il nome della sessione.

Non ci devono essere, ma se ci siano saranno nelle due cartelle. Attento, su Unix i file che iniziano con un punto non si vedono per default.
