    nvidia ed ubuntu

    Premetto che sono un completo niubbo e che prima di postare ho letto ed utilizzato le varie giude per installare i driver della scheda...allora li ho installati tramite Synaptic e ho provato a configurarli...glxgears mi gira pianissimo e glx info mi da questa roba...sapete darmi qualche consiglio?

    sembra che vada bene

    direct rendering: Yes
    significa che hai l'acelerazione
    glxgears non ha grande importanza
    basta restringere la finestra migliori subito le prestazioni

    prova qualche gioco 3d e controlla se va fluido
    installa ad esempio

    apt-get install planetpenguin-racer

    capito, però ho una 6600 gt dovrebbe andare...bho ora provo a scaricare il gioco e poi posto il risultato...grazie

    ok...provato...sembrerebbe andare abbastanza bene, ma c'è modo di sapere i fps?

    se avvii glxgears nel terminale ti da gli fps ma non è affidabilissimo

    no perchè me li dà bassissimi mentre i giochi 3d girano fluidi...grazie mille
