For your reference, a few quick rules of thumb:

Not Appropriate:

Jeans of any color (including, but not limited to: blue, black, red, etc.)
Shorts, sweatshirts, leggings, spandex or athletic warm up clothing
T-shirts without collars
Shirts worn outside trousers
Sneakers, athletic shoes or flip flops
Clothing that is more revealing than your formal work clothes, e.g., no halter-neck tops, bare midriff tops, micro-mini skirts or dresses, tank-tops for men
Trousers or shirts with tears
You may want to keep a formal business outfit in the office for use in the event of a last-minute client meeting. Use your judgement regarding whether or not this would be helpful to you given your contact with clients and other aspects of your role.
