ciao a tutti ho fatto una scansione del mio pc (sistema operativo windows xp pro)
con hjakthis.exe e mi dava come potenzialmente pericoloso il file csrss.exe che si troca sotto C\Windows\config...
ora da altri forum ho letto che tale eseguibile dovrebbe trovarsi sotto
C\Windows\System32..
come mi consigliate di procedere??

Scarica Hijackthis e mettilo in un cartella dedicata (tipo: c:\programmi\Hijackthis o quella consigliata durante l'installazione).
Eseguilo e clicca sul tasto "Do a system scan and save a log file". Posta il file di testo ottenuto.

Apri il registro (start => esegui => digita regedit e dai l'ok).
segui questo percorso:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon
Clicca su "winlogon" una sola volta e individua, nella finestra a destra
"Shell"="Explorer.exe C:\WINDOWS\Config\csrss.exe"
clicca 2 volte su "shell " e, nella finestra che si apre, cancella solo la parte C:\WINDOWS\Config\csrss.exe
e dai l'ok
Quindi quello che deve restare è:
Nome = shell -----> Valore = Explorer.exe
Premi F5, chiudi il registro e riavvia
Riesegui hijackthis e postalo
edit: ovviamente, elimina il file
...

bene... ora vediamo se hai altri files da eliminare:
scarica SystemScan, disconnetti il pc da internet => disattiva l'antivirus => esegui systemscan => clicca su "Scan Now". Finita la scansione, riattiva l'antivirus
Carica il rapporto che trovi sul desktop su Savefile e posta il link ottenuto.

spiegare come si interpreta un log non è una cosa da 3 minuti, ci vogliono molte conoscenze e tanta esperienza. Per imparare si osserva l'operato delle persone più esperte, si cerca di fare una diagnosi personale ad alcuni problemi riscontrati dagli utenti e si confrontano le proprie conclusioni con le soluzioni date dagli utenti più esperti. Non da ultimo si fanno (tante) ricerche online.
Per i pc non collegati alla rete si fa a meno delle scansioni online e si scaricano i tool necessari da un pc con accesso ad internet.
