phpMyAdmin: errore installazione

Ciao a tutti.. Continua la mia escalation al fine di installare un ambiente WAMP su Windows 7 per la prima volta.

Apache installato, funziona.
PHP installato, funziona (http://localhost/test.php).
MySql installato, funziona anche quello.

Ho installato phpMyAdmin come in guida di html.it, ho spostato, rimoninato e configurato il file "config.default.php" in "config.inc.php" come da manuale, ma purtroppo digitando "http://localhost/phpMyAdmin/ non mi compare la tanto amata schermata, e invece mi compare un errore con su scritto:

"phpMyAdmin - Errore
Impossibile caricare l'estensione mysql,
prego controllare la configurazione di PHP - Documentazione"

Aiuto!



PS: i file di installazione sono:

- httpd-2.2.17-win32-x86-no_ssl (APACHE, installer)
- php-5.3.5-Win32-VC6-x86 (PHP, zip)
- mysql-5.5.8-win32 (MySQL, installer)

che versione di phpmyadmin stai installando? E se la guida di HTML.IT fosse "datata" per la nuova installazione? Se non ricordo male, hai almeno un paio di modi di installare le recenti release di phpmyadmin: una consiste nell'usare lo script di installazione fornito (interfaccia a dire poco scarna, ma serve allo scopo), l'altra utilizzando il solito file di configurazione. Comunque è tutto spiegato sia sul sito di phpmyadmin che nelle istruzione allegate al pacchetto di installazione che hai scaricato.

Il file nn è mysql.ini ma php.ini. Si, già avevo tolto il punto e virgola sia da mysql.dll che da mysqli.dll, ma non va, non va proprio.. Non so che fare..

e postaci il risultato (anche se lungo) così vediamo di capire il problema

Se riesci a trovarmi il problema, li elimino questi tre infiniti post (mi sembra decisamente eccessivo)...

Hmmm...vedo che 'è l'estensione mysqlnd ma non la mysql, quindi vediamo di venirne a capo.
Intano preciso che non conosco Windows (o meglio non lo uso da anni).
Php dovrebbe scrivere un file error.log, probabilmente sotto C:/php. Vedi tra le ultime righese ti dice qualcosa.
Verifica poi, sempre sotto c:/php, dovrebbe esistere una cartella extenions o qualcosa del genere. Lì dovrebbe esserci il file "incriminato". tra l'altro se ricordo bene il php.ini contiene un qualcosa del tipo

extension_dir = "C:/php/php_extensions"

che forse è commentata...
