L'immagine che sparisce quando viene cliccata potrebbe essere:
[img]tuaimmagine.jpg[/img]
(potreti aggiungere anche uno style="cursorointer;" per far capire che è cliccabile)
Per far "transitare" un link potresti usare jquery, ma non è chiaro che movimento deve fare...
