facendo il var_dump esce:

[object HTMLInputElement],[object HTMLInputElement]string(51) "[object HTMLInputElement],[object HTMLInputElement]" con 2 checkbox selezionate
e cosi via..

non è che vi brilla qualche idea? . . .
