Per installare Gnome non conviene usare Swaret.

E' meglio scaricare tutti i .tgz dalla directory gnome/ di un mirror ufficiale della slackware-current, metterli in una cartella solo per loro e in quella cartella dare, da root "upgradepkg --install-new *.tgz"

Così installa anche quelle cose che Swaret non trova cercando "gnome".

Perlomeno questa è la mia teoria
Scusate se mi intrometto fa facendo così ho avuto dei problemi.
Ho scaricato tutti i .tgz da un mirror
e poi
upgradepkg --install-new *.tgz

ma avviando gnome mi dà una finestra di errore
