Installazione nuova ver. Evolution

Novel ha rilasciato la nuova versione di evolution..

csì come root da shell ho fatto

wget -q -O - http://go.ximian.com |sh


e mi è partito il download dei pakketti e l'installazione!..il problema però è ke ora la shell è così!:

e sul video è uscita la finestra di installazione e si è fermata su una pagina ke dice:

Sei sicuro che sia evolution quello che stai installando? (la versione 2.0 non mi risulta che sia uscita... che io mi ricordi sono ancora alla 1.5.9.xx).
Forse stai installando il desktop Ximian (che suppongo sia una versione modificata di gnome).

Quindi nei prossimi mesi. Io ho avuto la versione fino alla 1.5.8 (era abbastanza stabile ma ad un certo punto si è bloccata del tutto e non sono riuscito a risuscitarla ).
Aspetto la versione definitiva.

Io credo che l'installer si riferisca all'intero desktop. E il termine "annuncia" ad "avvisa che uscirà".

ieri ho trovato in edicola linux pro di luglio agosto e l'ho comprato...

ho visto ke c'è un'articolo di evolution...e dice di installarlo proprio con quella stringa ke ho dato io!...ho provato ad avviare gnome cm root...casomai ci fosse un problema di incompatibilità..ma mi da lo stesso errore!

ho provato anche io, mi ha dato lo stesso errore, ho mandato la mail a distribution@ximian.com come dice l'errore e mi hanno risposto:

Quindi praticamente, io che uso Suse9 9.1 non lo posso installare nonostante ne abbia già una versione nativa con il SO! Boh, mi sembra una scemenza. Poi non capisco x quale motivo hanno fatto questo sistema del xxxxx per l'installazione anzichè far semplicemente scaricare un tar.gz o rpm
