Che opzioni devo mettere in mkisofs perchè mi crei un'immagine con i nomi di file corretti? Qua ho provato in tutti i modi, ma finisce sempre che scorcia il nome del file a 8 lettere...
Se ho capito bene il tuo problema ti serve questa opzione che permette la corretta lettura dei nomi dei file anche nei sistemi che non supportano le estensioni Rock Ridge (tipo win)

man mkisofs:

-T Generate a file TRANS.TBL in each directory on the CDROM, which can be used on non-Rock Ridge capable systems to help establish the correct file names. There is also information present in the file that indicates the major and minor numbers for block and character devices, and each symlink has the name of the link file given.
