Premetto che non ho mai avuto problemi di alcun genere con il masterizzatore in ambiente Linux, sia con kernel 2.4 che 2.6.
Improvvisamente, una settimana fa il masterizzatore ha cominciato a bruciarmi i CD, con qualunque software (k3b o Xcdroast), masterizzando CD dati e/o CD audio sia in modalità DAO che TAO.

Ho sempre usato il masterizzatore come utente normale. Mai un problema.
Adesso si presenta il problema sia da utente normale che da root.
Ho provato anche utilizzando il kernel di default senza fare alcun aggiornamento.
N.B. Il masterizzatore in oggetto continua a funzionare benissimo in ambiente Windows, quindi escludo che si tratti di un problema hardware.
