se noti anche rallentamenti del disco e ti disabilita il dma potrebbe essere un cavo ide con qualche problema
io ne avevo uno bruciato e faceva lo stesso scherzetto
puoi provare ad abilitare un voce del kernel che parla prorpio di questo errore
