- ora non è più possibile scaricare in shareware GIANT a.s. (ma solo gli updates) dal suo sito, essendo stato acquisito dalla microsoft che lo includerà in windows: si tratta di un antispyware molto buono

- SpyHunter (della Enigma) non è un buon a.s. e ne ho avuto riprova oggi:

ho constatato che SpyHunter (associato ad un buono e rispettabile tool di pulizia del sistema, almeno fino ad ora) mi ha rilevato per 3 volte l'adware (nel mio caso) inesistente 'DealHelper'

altri tool cmq sicuri come Lavasoft Ad-Aware e Webroot SpySweeper ovviamente non hanno rilevato nulla

ovviamente si tratta solo di un falso positivo, nulla di grave: ma il fatto che una swhouse rispettabile lo inglobi nel suo tool di pulizia del sistema (anche se solo per promozionare un 'possibile valore aggiunto') la dice lunga sul fatto che sul mercato di sw antispyware veramente affidabili ed efficaci ce ne siano ben pochi, Giant & Ad-Aware in testa
se togliamo Giant ormai astutamente acquisito da microsoft e Ad-Aware che verrà incorporato dalla norvegese Norman come 'pezzo pregiato' rimane ben poco altro
