ho due pc collegati in rete tramite switch:
uno dei due e' il server (con fedora core 2)
ed e' collegato a internet tramite modem 56k,
vorrei settarlo come proxy server e andare in internet
anche con il client... i due pc si pingano entrambi,
una volta settato /etc/squid/squid.conf sul server
rendo attivo il servizio squid.
inizio ad operare sul client (con turbo linux)
apro conqueror e vado sulle opzioni... gli indico la
porta 3128.
quando lancio ad esempio www.google.it mi compare
la finestrella con su:
could not connect to host proxy 192.168.1.5 port 3128
e quindi non va nulla.
ho provato a pingarli... si pingano.
... accetto suggerimenti di ogni tipo.
