Il problema che riscontro è che nonstante sia passato da una ADSL 640 a 4 Mega il mio PING (sui server che abitualmente frequento) non
è cambiato per niente.

Inoltro ho provato ad modificare il MTU a 1500 con il prog. TCPOptimizer ma non è cambiato niente...

Qualcuno Gentilmente può aiutarmi?

I miei valori sono corretti?
Come mai il mio PING è sempre lo stesso?
Inoltre non VEDO più sulla Tray nessuna icona di connessione o di Modem eppure sono collegato!!!

se hai un router avrai impostato nella skeda di rete di non visualizzare quando sei connesso alla lan :P ...
cmq dovresti impostare mtu a 1492 ( 1500 ha problemi con alcuni tipi di connessione )

Salve popolo rieccomi a scocciare con la mia adsl lumaca



queste sono le impostazioni con drtcp ma non so perchè non supero i 155Kb/s quando un mio amico con stessa adsl (alice) nello stesso paese va a 160

dimenticavo...modem usb e winXp home!

sono appena venuto a sapere che è uscita la nuova versione di drTcp e questo mi consiglia le seguenti impostazioni <optimal>...come è possibile...sembra in netto constrasto con le regole di fiveandra.....

Se riesci a settare (sul router e sul PC) MTU = 1500 allora setti RWIN = 256960

Se non riesci, con il valore attuale di MTU devi settare RWIN = 252032
